I've recently been given the sources for the Peter Campbell's FAST and
SOFA compilers (most recently found here:
<http://vetusware.com/download/FAST programming language
2.67/?id=4454>). Peter, who died a couple of years back, was a NZ based
developer who devised and developed FAST and used it to write FastBase
<http://www.fastbase.co.nz/> (FastBase was eventually rewritten in
Tcl.). As far as I can tell, Peter's brother, who now runs the company
is happy to see FAST/SOFA released and left to wander off into oblivion.

Eric, in one of your emails re eltorito you said, "make it ready for
opening source." What exactly does that entail? Is there a desire to see
FAST/SOFA become part of the FreeDOS stable of languages, and how do I
make that happen, if it can be?

Kind regards,
Bruce M. Axtens
