strange that Lucho would make 4DOS unavailable to non-Chinese??
I do not think the 4DOS license would let him do that...

I agree that JWASM is not bad. On the other hand, even the
OpenWatcom compiler does not seem to be open enough for the
taste of Fedora, and JWASM is based on OpenWatcom WASM...?
Yet Bart Oldeman is quite optimistic about OpenWatcom if I
understand his mail of yesterday correctly :-). So yes,
while NASM is even more free, JWASM is quite okay for me.

You probably mean ArrowASM which can assemble smaller MASM
style sources such as for example NANSI. Not great but okay.
