Hi Pat,

> Looks like a good list. Are these all there are? If not, would you

There already is a thread which lists the bugs possibly fixed in 2038:

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=4A31346F.2020001%40jpberlin.de&forum_name=freedos-kernel

Note that several bugs are still from the old bugzilla, which
you can mark as closed only by editing the HTML of the static
archive (unless Jim knows a more elegant method)...

Unnamed issues fixed:

- Overflow and off-by-1 with CHS-only BIOSes
- int 21.1c invalid drive detection
- cross linked files after reboot while files are open
- SYS on FAT32 caused DOSFSCK warning (fix: backup boot sec updated)
- MKTEMP directory handling versus DOS version...

- JEMM FASTBOOT int 19 reboot needed pre-DOS int vector data
- QB4 QBasic/QuickBasic double-free compat added
- int 2f.4a00 callback for DJ mechanism GUI now supported
- f_node panic related to int 24 handling fixed
- findfirst with attrib 77a8 support for old game

Sourceforge tracked bugs fixed:

- 2421577 CP/M call support
- 2380828 21.7303 FAT32 aware disk space info
- 2362450 int 21.29 invalid drive detection
- 2253450 ancient GEM / FCB compatibility

Bugzilla tracked bugs fixed:

- 1793 SED versus NUL device read, please verify
- 1956 NULL pointer pessimism in app-allocated FILES
- 1953 int 21.29 invalid drive detection (same as above)
- 1854 EXE load size must be modulo 1 MB for Turbo C++ 3

- 1840 SYS was slow with DJ mechanism, now buffers
- 1862 SUBST problem with truename breaking chdir
- 1748 BIOS y2k workaround

Maybe improved but unknown:

- sourceforge 2547549, 2733092
- bugzilla 1753, 1793, 1658, 1779, 1814, 1875, 1923, 1828, 1956

Possible regression:

- partition table parsing prefers CHS now, problematic
if geometry during boot differs from the one in MBR
