I'd be curious what kind of 32bit Free-DOS is being used. There's a 
FreeDOS32 project, but it hasn't had that much life in it all those 
years (even with current development). What makes you think it was a 
32bit version? FreeDOS (with FAT16 and possibly FAT32 support) + 
protected mode loader (DOS EXTENDER) + (DJGPP-) program doesn't count as 
32bit.
