If you can find a SYS driver that will work in conventional memory, there's an 
old pair of utilities called DDL (Device Driver Load) and DDU (Device Driver 
Unload).  They work sort of like MARK/RELEASE, except with SYS drivers instead 
of TSRs.  If you can't find them with a search, I may be able to find them on 
one of my systems.  I don't know for sure if they'll work in this situation or 
not, but they might.
