I don't quite know exactly what the OP was intending regarding Windows
ports, but no, that's not quite what I meant.

I was referring to "official" GNU binaries for Windows (e.g. Emacs or
CVS, although upon second look the latter is kinda old and "non-GNU"
hosted by GNU, go figure):
