Dunno, a lot of DOS users who do such useful hacks apparently don't have suitable web pages. > If someone could send a working mirror to this DJGPP Mplayer build + HDA > sound card support through wss stuff I would be very grateful. Better to ask directly on the BTTR Forum itself. I don't use Mplayer itself (not a multimedia geek). Actually, there's an older version (probably you already have) already on iBiblio (circa 2007?), which I think Jim mirrored: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/util/user/mplayer/ You might even be able to use Sherpya's Win32 builds under HX (as DOS386 seems to always test). http://sourceforge.net/projects/mplayer-win32/files/MPlayer%20and%20MEncoder/ IIRC, the adaptation of WSS was by Khusraw (known for other excellent contributions), as was any newer builds of Mplayer itself (since Mik isn't publicly active anymore). RayeR was mainly interested in FFMPEG, apparently. Judas Player had a final experimental HDA build, which (IIRC) RayeR slightly tweaked with more PCI IDs (which then and only then worked on my desktop here). http://piotrkn22.republika.pl/judas/ Good luck! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ See everything from the browser to the database with AppDynamics Get end-to-end visibility with application monitoring from AppDynamics Isolate bottlenecks and diagnose root cause in seconds.
