Hello!I may be confused, but from what I'm reading in the technical
emails,FreeDOS is going to be 32-bit.If this is the case,I may have an
idea.Make two different "types" of FreeDOS.Their should
be..well....FreeDOS,which will keep updating,but REMAINS 16-bit.The
purpose of FreeDOS was to emulate the old MS-DOS.If the 16-bit version
is taken out,it may affect the overall usage of this OS.(I myself like
the 16-bit version).The second type,should be called FreeDOS-32.These
two types will remain separated from eachother, while they continiue to
grow.Short story short,their should two different FreeDOSes:The
16-bit,and the 32-bit.They will continiue to be updated, reaching
version 2.0 and such, while keeping their respective bits.I hope this
idea helps, because I for one am a fan of change, but keeping both bits
will make everyone happy.(Or perhaps there can be a boot choice:The
user chooses to boot into 16 or 32 bit at startup every time).Thaks!!☺
