Please read the article below carefully, I'm confident it will answer 
all your doubts. Once you understand how memory works under DOS, you 
will be able to work your way up into how to configure it under FreeDOS.

If you still have a problem, please post it rather on the user mailing 
list, since it's a classic user-side configuration issue. For the 
future, always start a separate thread for new subjects, otherwise the 
list will quickly become an unreadable mess.
