Since there seems to be some activity here again (yay!)
It would be lovely to have code that can be incorporated in other
projects to do the equivalent of the FreeDOS SYS command. In order to
be usable in arbitrary environments, it needs to abstract out all I/O
and user interaction as that will vary, and be written in as plain C as
at all possible.
