In general, my impression is that licenses will differ per network
packet driver, so you can probably omit some (AMD? Which?) while
keeping those with safe licenses. Is there a list regarding which
PCI, ISA or other network controller (NIC) drivers have safe and
which have problematic licenses? For the problematic ones, can the
package instead present download links to the user (of course to
be used from Windows, Linux etc. as they have no internet yet) for
some of the drivers? I expect all drivers to be at least free to
use for owners of the corresponding controllers, as long as they
download them from the official vendor homepage themselves, but of
course we should only have free and open ones in the package itself.

Eric
