copying it to a RAM disk will require 1 or 2 seconds every time you boot this floppy. starting this from floppy requires 1 or 2 seconds every time you use the editor - usually less often then you use to boot this very floppy - remember we are about editing CONFIG.SYS/AUTOEXEC.BAT. YMMV of course for editing CONFIG.SYS/AUTOEXEC.BAT some 3-10KB editor should probably do as well.
