I ran one more test with zoo. It runs with FAT16 998 MB but not with FAT16 1025 MB.
So my question: Is it really necessary to keep it on the FD live CD as it is now?
At the moment it can be installed directly from CD - but is not installed automatically.
Or would it be enough to upload it via fdnpkg if really needed?

Then let's try if this works:
The old zipper "zoo" has a built-in bug that prevents it to expand compressed files on FAT32 system.
