I kind of would like what are the priorities for an upcoming release...
Could you point the bugs numbers from:
[Just realizing there is a priority on bugs here... however applying filters make url too long for me to want to copy it here]
https://sourceforge.net/p/freedos/bugs/
that you bothers you most?
Your link is full of such reports. This summer I made in about 40 proposals to close outdated tickets to get a smaller and better overview on the site,
but they are still open. You will find them when you run a search over all open tickets and sort for "Created Z->A".
Search there for things like "edit" (not only at sourceforge!), "chkdsk" (380,382,383,16), a final solution that fdisk cannot show another label than the commands
label, vol etc. when the first label was created with fdisk and a new one with label. (try it, run "fdisk", give a label, then reboot and "label" and give it another
label and then run fdisk again. You will see two different labels on the same partition. This is only a short list, two or three weeks ago a posted a list with some more in this mailing list.
format 0.92a still has problems with NLS support (it adds the NLS into the format command) and formatting a "ghost drive b". (only one existing diskette drive).
There is no good FAT32 support in chkdsk, scandisk, defrag etc.
I know that a lot of pull / merge requests are anywhere in the kernel / command.com queue, I had the good luck to test some modified kernels and command.com files, they fix several bugs that I reported in the last year. It would be great to have a test version where all the requests are added in one trial version for interested users before the next kernel / command comes out.
