I discovered yesterday that my pcx files in Alegro were truncated. When I discovered that I tried to send a message to the list with corrupted versions and ok versons, that was too big and still awaiting moderator approval [you can reject it.]
I now see that the files I have in: https://gitlab.com/FreeDOS/devel/dj_alego/-/blob/unstable/SOURCE/DJ_ALEGO/allegro/examples/mysha.pcx?ref_type=heads https://gitlab.com/FreeDOS/devel/dj_alego/-/blob/unstable/SOURCE/DJ_ALEGO/allegro/examples/allegro.pcx?ref_type=heads are truncated versions. real files are: [paul@betakard examples]$ ls -l *.pcx -rw-r--r-- 1 paul paul 43782 11 nov 10:38 allegro.pcx -rw-r--r-- 1 paul paul 61581 11 nov 10:38 mysha.pcx -rw-r--r-- 1 paul paul 2546 11 nov 10:38 planet.pcx For mysha, I believe the truncation is caused by a Ctrl-Z (copy /a give just one byte more). For allegro.pcs... don't know. Did not check sources on DJGPP yet. So the problems I told about DJGPP half working are mostly about that. There is also that when quitting a program in graphics mode, screen remain black in FreeDOS... I remember in 1990s that DOS was working after changing to graphics mode... _______________________________________________ Freedos-devel mailing list Freedos-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-devel
