I didn't see a reply to Kirn's email so I figured I'd jump in: On Mon, Nov 11, 2024 at 5:23 PM Kirn Gill via Freedos-devel <freedos-devel@lists.sourceforge.net> wrote: > > [..] > I'd like to get a program I'm working on into the FreeDOS package > repository. Generally, we look for discussion on the email list long before we decide if we'll include a new program in the distribution. There's no documented, official process but it generally goes like this: 1. the developer starts a discussion on freedos-devel like "I made a new program .. it does __" (you've done that) 2. if it's an interesting program, then people will discuss it 3. if people continue to be interested in it after a while -- and usually after a few releases, so it's getting maintained -- and if the program is generally useful to a lot of people, then we'll ask "should we include this in FreeDOS?" And we try to go by consensus from that discussion. jh _______________________________________________ Freedos-devel mailing list Freedos-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-devel
