Not for an 80286, no. The 80286 could access 16MB of RAM and many '286
PCs shipped with 1MB, meaning that they had 384kB of XMS out of the
box.

This was my thinking in the way I set up the DOS USB key, but one of
my first ever users to contact me disagrees. :-) / :-(
