I suspect getting committed so close to FreeDOS 1.4 would probably keep
this out of 1.4 too (that is, not included in the build?). But I reviewed
the change and it's just a config file change, to only use the 8.3 name,
plus an edit to the LSM file, so that seems trivial (as expected).

I was curious why the LSM still preserved the "b" for the version field.
Usually, a developer uses letters with the version for a very minor
non-code update. For example: version 1.0 might be a full release, version
1.0a might fix a typo in the Readme.txt file, version 1.0b might update the
version in News.txt so everything matches.
