This has been an ongoing problem for several weeks or months. It seems much more common since they upgraded the server. But, that is likely a coincidence.
A while back Willi was having issue download package updates from the server. So, I pointed him towards my Unofficial Download repository. While it is not a mirror of the official one on IBIBLIO, it contains all of the same package version hosted there. I also have the different FreeDOS releases and put copies of the Interim tests builds under the http://fd.lod.bz/releases <http://fd.lod.bz/releases> directory. You are more than welcome to fetch the OS from there. Just do not spread that URL around as a mirror for downloading the OS. While my server has good bandwidth and a fairly large amount allotted for data transfer, I do not want to exceed my limits by having large swaths of the general public pulling down gigabytes of data.
