I wouldn't recommend modifying "djgpp.env" in most normal cases. I
believe you can (per session) override it temporarily by just doing
"set LFN=n" on the shell cmdline, but that will usually only work for
DJGPP-compiled programs.

Just to mention again, DOSLFN does have both "u" (unload) and "d"
(disable) commands, as well as "e" to (re-)"enable".
