It hjas some BLOBs, some from other FOSS projects, but it works and
I've been using it for about 6-7 years now without incident. Nobody
has demonstrated any problem, exploit, bug, data loss, exfiltration,
anything. And it runs only at boot when most systems don't have a
network connection yet.

Relax. Storm in a teacup. It's fine.

Some distros and OSes pull dodgy tricks as they boot, which makes them
fail with Ventoy, and as is typical in the FOSS industry, such
organisations would rather blame someone else than fix their code or
document what they do.

I speak from direct personal experience as a former member of staff at
Red Hat when I found installer bugs, filed them with documentation and
steps to reproduce, and had them closed WONTFIX, on the basis that
"RHEL is a server distro and we do not support dual booting with other
distros. Servers do not dual boot."
