Thanks! I've also mirrored this to the FreeDOS Files Archive at Ibilbio. https://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/dos/kernel/2046/
I also copied (as text) your GitHub release announcement as readme.txt at Ibiblio. When I did that, I spotted (and fixed on my end) a typo: "Kernel 2045 is.." should be "Kernel 2046 is.." (i.e. a copy/paste error from the 2045 notes) *see https://github.com/FDOS/kernel/releases/tag/ke2046 On Tue, Jun 30, 2026 at 6:39 AM perditionc--- via Freedos-devel <[email protected]> wrote: > > On Tue, Jun 30, 2026 at 1:06 AM Jerome Shidel via Freedos-devel > <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Hi, >> >> I was looking to add the new Kernel for the upcoming July Interim Test build. >> >> But, there is no precompiled version of the 8086 Kernel with FAT32 support. >> >> That version is kind-of needed for the floppy edition for booting.
