Thanks - I just found and fixed it, see below!

It's allways amazing how small are the fixes for complex bugs like that ;-)

Yes, the bug was there for many months since we introduced EBDA support but it was noticed only when the kernel was built with Borland C and for 386 (what a happy occasion, indeed! ;-)

Good night now (here it's 10:10PM anyway), and have good (unbugged) dreams,

Thanks, Alain - and same to you ;-)

Actually, there are two more bugs in FreeDOS I'd like to catch, but they're specific to M$ SCANDISK and RAR-3 so I wonder if it's worth. The first one is that SCANDISK still can't unlock my XMSDSK RAM disk and works only with the /TESTONLY option there. I think I can fix this. The second bug is that RAR-3 doesn't work with wildcards (RAR-2 works). This will be more difficult to solve. And the problem with some DOS extenders remains, but I don't think that it'll be solved soon.

Anyway, next week the semester here begins so I'll be probably unable to put significant effort on FreeDOS anymore :-(
