I am not acquainted with ASPI (and also I fail to understand if you mean to have detected a PCI SCSI card or maybe some SCSI->USB adapter?), so I don't know if this is just a kernel bug (to be registered in bugzilla) or this is about a feature that has to be added to kernel and it isn't already. In this case, which is the component, and do you feel as pre/post 1.0?

Folks,
The DI1000DD.SYS ASPI drive mapper, which also offers extended Int13 support, fails under FreeDOS kernels (2032 and 2034) but runs fine under various versions of MS-DOS.
If you have a motherboard with a USB chipset, the USBASPI.SYS driver should install ASPI support for it. If not, either the USBASPI2.SYS or USBASPI3.SYS drivers here should work. You'll need to have a USB Flashdrive or some other valid USB device present for the USB ASPI driver to install itself ...

If USB is not convenient, presumably any ASPI device driver will give the ASPI-to-DOS drive mapper something to see.
Then, this DI1000DD.SYS driver will fail under FreeDOS, where is succeeds under MS-DOS ...

It would be handy to have it working, but I thought you guys would want to know since there's increasing talk of taking FreeDOS to v1.0. <g>
Thanks!
