I hope to help the FreeDOS community by testing, so here's my latest testing news:
I have installed the latest "unstable" kernel on my computer.
A freeware DOS hardware detection program called Informer froze/locked up during sound card detection. Under FreeDOS 2035a, this did not happen and Informer worked fine. System configuration was identical except for the two different Kernels and COMMAND.COMs.

Other than that, the new "unstable" kernel works fine so far. I've used numerous different software like games and system utilities.
