Hi Bernd, >> Offtopic: fdos.org was down temp because I forgot to update...
> Hi Jeremy, good to hear from you. Definitely :-) > This would probably be a bad time for announcing I've lost fdos.org ftp I did not even know you had one! So you could actually have fixed some of the way outdated diskimages and htmlhelp? ;-) > Eric's site has moved ( http://www.auersoft.eu/ ), but without > the FreeDOS programs/utilities to my knowledge It is broken again, yes :-! Last year my alumni university account got deleted and the auersoft.eu (I once had .de, .org, too) often is in quite bad state because I always have it on "donated" space, for example from the EzNos people or from Tassilo who also runs our IRC. At the moment I am once more busy to repair it, but my time for web design is now considerably less than a few years ago. You can find a mirror of ONLY the FreeDOS part in Brazil, donated by Alain: http://ericauer.cosmodata.virtuaserver.com.br/ (a bit slow ;-)) > Some of the utilities are still on FreeDOS cdroms to be found, > others are semi-lost likely. Most stuff will be on Alain's mirror but things which had no direct links or were protected did not get copied when he "rescued" a copy from my old page. One semi-lost example is an improved makebootfat.
