Just found this and think, that it is very interesting: SQL Lite ( http://www.sqlite.org/ ) can be compiled in DOS (with DJGPP): http://www.sqlite.org/cvstrac/wiki?p=HowToCompile

just as it would be a good idea to deliver a game on ODIN bootdisks for example. real-world stuff.
