-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I submitted the news about the release of OpenGEM Project Liberation Beta 3 to OSNEWS the other day...and today...boom.
Erm. My website has been FLOODED with hits. 3000 in one day. We're listed at http://www.osnews.com/comment.php?news_id=11749, and a lot of favourable comments follow the story. The official statistics are that in one day 269 people downloaded Project Liberation, and another 100 took OpenGEM Complete. These are not the final statistics. I wonder if this has lead to an increase of FreeDOS website traffic as well? I'd be interested to see if increases in OpenGEM's profile lead to similar increases in FreeDOS traffic.
