Arachne works with PACKET driver, the same driver did work for WATTCP.

Packet driver is simple and small, too bad DOS only have a few
application like ARACHNE, and ARACHNE in fact have a lot of
limitations such as language (no Chinese or Japanese), XMS or HTML 4.x
not supported ... a lot of room to improve.

IMO, perhaps ... maybe easier to port FireFox to DOS than change
