Assuming you are asking what you appear to be asking, the HIMEM option /METHOD:<value> will allow you to force the exact A20 method you want to use. /METHOD:ALWAYSON effectively relinquishes HIMEM's control of the A20 line by assuming the computer always leaves A20 on. If it doesn't, you're on your own for making things work properly. HIMEM is fairly intelligent about auto-selecting the correct method anyway.
