That is not the only difference. DJGPP also links with
a DOS specific C library, because for example the kernel
calls needed to open a file differ from those used on
a Linux system. The memory model is also different in
DOS, even after you add that 32 bit loader stub, so you
can say that DJGPP is more than a modified configuration
for GCC. It is more a special GCC system for DOS.
