In fact, FDUPDATE isn't handling network stuff at all. FDUPDATE calls WGET, 
which is connecting to the network. I have the same trouble here. The only 
solution is to not use DHCP, just configure your WATTCP.CFG file to a static 
IP. If you really need DHCP, then try try with another version of WGET, or 
use CURL (you will have to rename CURL.EXE TO WGET.EXE then).
