A big thanks for that! I am using mtcp FTPsrv for data exchange between my Mac OSX host and a FreeDOS 1.1 VirtualBox guest. According to the Mac's "activity monitor" the new version of FTPsrv needs only 5-7% CPU power (instead of 100%).
