Hi list, A few days ago I had a somewhat urgent need to compare two binary files to find exactly what bytes are different between the two. I did a quick research for some software that would help me in this task, and I found HexCompare: http://sourceforge.net/projects/hexcompare/
I tried it, and immediately fell for it. HexCompare is an application that performs comparison between two binary files, and displays the differences in a graphical, colorful hexeditor-like interface. Since I found this software to be of an exceptional usefulness, I decided to port it to DOS - and here it is: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/distributions/1.1/repos/util/hexcomp.zip It can also be installed using FDNPKG: fdnpkg install hexcomp best regards, Mateusz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user
