It is worth adding, for full transparency, that their "FreeDOS support" 
is mostly a joke. They do not care about FreeDOS, they only need to avoid 
their hardware being labeled as "sold without operating system". Their 
FreeDOS builds are therefore useless from a user's point of view.

Their FAQ states that quite clearly:
"HP notebook PCs sold with FreeDOS are intended for customers who have a 
license for and a capability to install their own, additional operating 
system if desired."
