Hey there. I tried installing both 1.2 and 1.3rc and managed to get something with a command prompt, but GCC.EXE --version dies with a segfault and PERL.EXE seems to have been compiled to use a library path which looks like the maintainer's own development environment instead of the layout for FreeDOS.
Are these known issues? I saw a working compiler in the YouTube channel so I'm thinking there is something that needs to be tweaked in my install. If I can get a build environment up and running I don't mind taking a stab at recompiling perl to work properly in a standard FreeDOS directory structure.
