If you don't know what I mean then I do not have space to explain in a mailing list post. It is a long, difficult, complicated job involving rebooting over and over again, running DOS diagnostics such as Microsoft MSD or Quaterdeck Manifest, looking at the allocation of ROMs and I/O blocks in the upper memory space from 640kB to 1MB, and working out which ones you can and can't tell your 386 memory manager to use. It's hard, it takes some skill, and while I was a master of it in 1990 or so, I've never had the time to try to document this totally obsolete skill. I've never seen decent docs on how to do it anywhere. If the hint was not enough, you will not be able to do it, is the simple answer. -- Liam Proven ~ Profile: https://about.me/liamproven Email: lpro...@cix.co.uk ~ gMail/gTalk/FB: lpro...@gmail.com Twitter/LinkedIn: lproven ~ Skype: liamproven IoM: (+44) 7624 227612: UK: (+44) 7939-087884 Czech [+ WhatsApp/Telegram/Signal]: (+420) 702-829-053 _______________________________________________ Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user
