FreeDOS 1.4 includes USBJSTIK for USB game controllers, its functionality is often restricted by the type of USB host controller in your system and the need for a compatible memory manager for full hardware emulation. You might have some luck with older gamepads and specific hardware configurations, but don't expect plug-and-play compatibility with modern USB gaming controllers. USBJSTIK primarily supports UHCI (Universal Host Controller Interface) chipsets, which are typically found on older Intel, Via, and Sis motherboards. It generally will not work with OHCI (Open Host Controller Interface, newer USB 1.0) or EHCI (USB 2.0) controllers, and definitely not with modern USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 ports directly.
