It's possible that the CPU has changed in later Pocket386 models? I
just booted my Pocket386 .. it's running a standard install of FreeDOS
1.4, but I've commented out the networking stuff and the CD-ROM stuff
in FDAUTO.BAT. The FDCONFIG.SYS is unmodified.

And I get the full memory on the system, 8MB. No crashes.
