I've got a lenovo laptop, Lenovo N500 with a NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS onboard graphics. However when running certain dos programs I get a lot of screen artifacts, like random dots that blank out writing. A good example of this is when I run Desktop2 or one of a suit of card games the text is covered with crufft which makes it unreadable. Any ideas of what I can do about this?
I should have mentioned that I have the latest Freedos installed. I was involved in a recycling project some years ago, and we installed Freedos prior to the first 1.0 release on about 100 486 computers. This with a suite of free and shareware apps and a simple batch file menu program so complete novices could navigate round the programs with no prior experience or knowledge. We crammed in a wordprocessor, spreadsheet, database, calendar, dtp package and a draw program, a bunch of educational tutors, a typing tutor and about 25 dos games... Ive recently come across the files stored in an archive and I decided to try to recreate our distribution, but have come across this snag (and some others) when recreating the distro (as well as playing with assorted dos gui s).
