I see you just opened this, but IIRC the change was somewhat intentional
because you can go non-posix -> posix but you can't do the reverse.

It wasn't strictly intentional, but it was a contributing factor.
Anyway the default, both in CLI and Web UI, should be the most used
group type. AFAIK it's posix.
