Alex, I tried on Ubuntu 18.04 and Debian 9 and I'm having a rather similar experience with files being owned by nobody on my debian based boxes, but my centos/rhel 7 boxes work fine. My Debian 9 libnfsidmap version is 0.25-5.1. My RHEL nfs server box also has libnfsidmap 0.25 release 19.el7. How can I test newer versions of the package? Thanks so much for your time.
Environment details: RHEL machine is nfs server joined to active directory with realmd and sssd. NFS server and centos/rhel 7 client nfsv4 file shares with krb5 work fine with proper file permissions. Debian9/Ubuntu18.04 nfs client joined to active directory with realmd and sssd. NFSv4 mounts, directory and file permissions are honors, but show as owned by nobody. _______________________________________________ FreeIPA-users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedorahosted.org/archives/list/[email protected]
