Could you please answer the question I asked:
Do you have /etc/dirsrv/slapd-IDENTITY-DEMARCOHOME-COM/dse.ldif?
If not, at least any other files named dse.ldif.*?
Since your actual IPA deployment is working, it looks like a bug in
dsconf. Before opening a ticket for 389-ds, it would be good to
understand why it couldn't find the instance if it is present there.
