It's curious that no conflict entries were found. I'd suggest looking explicitly before doing a force re-init. ldapsearch -x -D 'cn=directory manager' -W -b dc=example,dc=test "(&(!(objectclass=nstombstone))(nsds5ReplConflict=*))" At least rule them out.
