I need to trap various FreeIPA events such as user addition or deletion. If I can trap these events (perhaps via callbacks), then I can do things like backing up home directories during user deletion or sending out a welcome mail on user addition.
Similarly, when staging users are added, I can use a callback and send an email to the admin notifying them of the same. I can build a web service to receive callbacks via HTTP.
