If you are not using --no-ntp (-N), ipa-client-install will configure
chrony. The question you get asked is whether you want to specify NTP
servers/pool addresses manually or we should discover them. The chrony
will still be configured, just with autodetection of the content or by
manually provided addresses.
Maybe it is just me, but I am a little bit confused about this
approach.
The phrase itself might be confusing in the sense that it does not make
it clear it will be configuring chrony in either case as you have not
specified --no-ntp.
