I just wanted to run what we've been informed of off-list past the list - we've
been advised that conflict entries created during an upgrade should just be
deleted unconditionally as they will be duplicates.

That doesn't sound right to me - my understanding is that conflict records are
created when differing changes are made on multiple hosts simultaneously. If
they were duplicates then there would be no conflict, or have I misunderstood?

All the conflicts are 'namingConflict (ADD)', if that makes a difference, and
all relate to External IDP permissions under cn=pbac.

Can they just be deleted, or do I need to be de-conflicting the records somehow?
