IPA allows storing automount maps in LDAP so that every enrolled machine
can access them and changes will be seen immediately. Under the hood
this is just automount + autofs (usually using NFS).

I'm not aware of a per-group mount using NFS.

If it could I doubt it would auto mount. These are typically mounted on
demand. /home/user is mounted because it is immediately used.
