Thanks for the reply. I did manage to read many discussions about this and so far the only real way to do what I need cleanly is to start over. It's painful as I've just migrated from LDAP 2.3 to idM about 6 months ago. And so best to get the pain out of the way now vs later. Although I might try the replication approach in my lab to know for certain.
Please do not drop the context. As far as I can see from your emails, all you need to do is to create an additional ID range to cover the users you have with IDs outside of the existing ID range. After that is done, you need to generate SIDs. Using replication will not help because the data in the replicated database will be the same. -- / Alexander Bokovoy Sr. Principal Software Engineer Security / Identity Management Engineering Red Hat Limited, Finland -- _______________________________________________ FreeIPA-users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedorahosted.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
