Looks like ansible is irrelevant. Just running ipa-client-install causes the 
same issue. sssd is 2.10.1, ipa-client-install is 4.12.4.

The issue is here:

The client install is adding services to sssd config even though they're socket 
activated.

Shall I file an issue there?

Also - I'm wondering if it's better to fix the conf file and let things run as 
the debian packagers intended, or shut down the socket responders...
